2018 Annual Ram Sale results

With the highest purchased ram and a heavy pouring of rain during the sale we had a fantastic sale day. With over 40 registrations we sold 143 out of the 150 on offer totaling $163,200.

Total sold:

1. 69 x White Suffolk rams sold for a total of 82,150
2. 15 x Poll Dorset rams sold for a total of $14,000
3. 16 x Southdown X White Suffolk rams sold for a total of $22,000

Our averages were:

1. White Suffolk rams averaged $1,190.58
2. Poll Dorset rams averaged $933.33
3. Southdown X White Suffolk rams averaged $1,375

The top sellers were:

1. White Suffolk ram sold for $1,900.
2. Poll Dorset ram sold for $1,400.
3. Southdown X White Suffolk ram sold for $3,200.

2017 Annual Ram Sale results

With the sun out and no rain for the last month we still had a fantastic sale day. With over 40 registrations we sold 143 out of the 150 on offer totaling $163,200.

1. White Suffolk rams averaged $1,214.
2. Poll Dorset rams averaged $854.
3. Southdown X White Suffolk rams averaged $1,141.

The top sellers were:

1. White Suffolk ram Lot #2 sold for $1,900.
2. Poll Dorset ram Lot #35 sold for $1,500.
3. Southdown X White Suffolk ram Lot #48 sold for $1,750.

2016 Annual Ram Sale results

Kismet’s 2016 ram sale wasn’t dampened by the rain selling a total of 124 rams with an average of $990.

• 71 White Suffolk rams were sold with an average of $1,156, grossing $82,100
• 33 Poll Dorset rams were sold, with an average of $728, grossing $24,050
• All 20 Southdown rams were sold, with an average of $835, grossing $16,700

The top selling ram was a White Suffolk purchased by Simon Lavis from Balldale for $2050.

2015 Annual Ram Sale results

The 2015 Kismet Stud Annual Ram sale was a great success, selling 112 out of our 130 on offer.

• 67 White Suffolk rams were sold with an average of $1055, grossing $70,700.
• 25 Poll Dorset rams were sold, with an average of $716, grossing $17,900.
• All 20 Southdown rams were sold, with an average of $775, grossing $15,500

The top selling ram was bought by Mallon Pastoral for $1,700 – a White Suffolk ram.

2014 Annual Ram Sale results

The 2014 Kismet Stud Annual Ram sale was a great success, selling 105 out of our 110 on offer.

All 30 Poll Dorsets were sold, with an average of $775, grossing $22,900. The top Poll Dorset ram was bought by Jillamatong Pastoral for $1,300.

75 White Suffolk rams were sold with an average of $933, grossing $70,000. The highest paid White Suffolk rams were bought by CH & C Packer from Kanumbra in Urana, who bought two White Suffolk rams for $2400 each (photos of these two rams below).

2013 Annual Ram Sale results

We had a successful sale this year selling 90 rams and achieving a sale total of $72,250.

The top priced White Suffolk ram was purchased for $1,800 by Peter Richardson from “Elerada Pastoral”, Quatquatta in Corowa NSW. And the top priced Poll Dorset ram was also purchased for $1,800 by Matt Bruce from “Oakbank” in Rennie NSW.

Our biggest volume buyer was Damien O’Keefe from Boorhaman VIC who bought 15 White Suffolk rams.

2012 Annual Ram Sale results

Our 2012 Spring Annual Spring Ram Sale brought quite good results selling 80 rams averaging $882 per ram.

2011 Annual Ram Sale results

Sold all rams on offer at our 2011 Annual Ram Sale achieving a sale total of $114,750. The top selling ram was bought by Alwyne Collins from “Dunholine Pty Ltd” in Walbundrie NSW who bought a white suffolk ram for $2000.
